The Nike NBA Uniform Deal is Lucrative

As promised, the financial details on the new Nike NBA uniform deal are beginning to leak, and they’re eye-popping.

Under the new agreement, which begins in the 2017-18 season, cheap nike roshe run will be the NBA’s new global merchandising and marketing partner, providing all NBA teams with uniforms, on-court warm-ups and shooting shirts, and doing likewise for WNBA and NBA D-League teams. Notably, Nike will also include its logo on team’s game jerseys. This will be the first time the NBA has allowed a non-league corporate logo on its game jerseys.

Nike will also create special promotional activations around marquee league events like the NBA Draft, All-Star Weekend and the like. The cheap nike roshe runs brand has managed to consistently put together memorable, must-visit activities over All-Star Weekend, but beginning in 2017-18 they’ll officially be co-branded with the NBA.

Of course, that all comes at a price, and a pretty steep one. ESPN’s Darren Rovell reports that the new deal will see Nike pay the NBA about $1 billion over eight years, or $125 million per season. In contrast, the current Adidas NBA uniform deal is worth $400 million over 11 years.
