New Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” Release in 2015!

2015 really has the potential to be an historic year for releases, with a seemingly endless parade of all-time-greats and new, cheap nikes with free shippiping instant-classics alike land on shelves. The latest evidence? Another of the former: the Air Jordan 1 Chicago will return.

Back in 2013, Jordan Brand began their ongoing tradition of proper AJ1 retros, boasting the hightop silhouette and true, throwback branding that sees “NIKE AIR” printed on the tongue and the heel entirely blank — cheap roshe run shoes omitting the more contemporary Jumpman logo. Unfortunately, while classics from the “Bred” and “Royal” to “Shadow” and even “Black Toe” have return, JB has somehow overlooked an OG treatment of the beloved “Chicago” edition. Until now.

Today, take an early look at the eagerly anticipated bringback, which pairs the usual red and white leather on the upper, while pops of black deliver contrast and the aforementioned authentic branding and silhouette complete the masterpiece. This is how you drive demand.

Stay tuned for confirmation, but it sounds like the Air Jordan 1 Chicago release is set for May 30, with retail rumored for a newly-increased $160, a jump that was probably inevitable after two years of static pricing.
