The Nike Doernbecher Freestyle 2014 collection launched three weeks ago, the latest series of Nike shoes designed by patients (or former patients) at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. But alas, two of the shoes didn’t make it to shelves, the latest nike roshe run shop victims of Nike’s occasional release-delays. Well, this weekend those oversights are corrected.
Both Missy Miller’s Nike Free 5.0 Doernbecher and Alejandro Muñoz’s Nike Air Max Penny 1 Doernbecher release tomorrow, December 6, bookending one of the most impressive Doernbecher collections to date. Missy’s Free 5.0 boasts a bright blue and pink look, with graphics and styling inspired by her dream of dancing in New York.
Alejandro’s Penny 1 meanwhile rocks silver upper with all-over reflective finish, roshe run shop ensuring maximum conspicuousness in any conditions, with his own custom logo inspired by that of his favorite football team, the San Francisco 49ers.
Both shoes will hit select Nike retail locations (full list here) on Saturday, and will be available online on Nike.com beginning at 8am EST.
