The acclaimed hybrid model — Roshe silhouette and sole; paneling and materials of the long lost LD-1000 runner — sports patriotic red through the mesh-and-suede upper, roshe run new zealand starkly contrasted by black leather on the Swoosh and heel-tab. Considering the timing, it’s easy to call this an “Independence Day” edition, but the use of black rather than blue keeps things cool and contrasting, without going thematically over the top.
The Nike Roshe LD-1000 Red/Black is now hitting overseas accounts, though a US launch hasn’t been announced yet. Take a closer look below and stay tuned for updates.
