In its storied history, Nike Skateboarding has turned out two all-time-classic Dunks inspired by the hip-hop group De La Soul, Wholesale Air Max 90 New Zealand specifically their seminal debut album, “3 Feet High and Rising.” One of Dunks, boasting a white leather-based lowtop upper and colorful overlays, is set to retro this year, albeit in hightop form. Nike Free 3.0 V4 Online In lieu of the clean simplicity of the white-based shoe, the Nike SB Dunk Low De La Soul goes much more colorful, with green Elephant print panel on the toe, vinyl album art on the quarter-panel, and a brown suede upper. Orange piping furthers the colorful look, and lime green adds altogether unique style to the midsole and accents.
The one down side? The wait. While the hightop hits stores next week, the Nike SB Dunk Low De La Soul release date is slated for May 16, with retail set for $135. So how does this revisited retro stack up to its predecessor? How about to the other 2015 De La Soul Dunk?
