No, this weekend doesn’t have a ton of launches, but it’s the definition of quality over quantity. The Nike Penny Sharpie Pack releases tomorrow, July 4.
Combining Penny Hardaway’s past and present, the pack comprises a classic silhouette and a brand new one. The classic, of course, is the Air Foamposite One Sharpie, nike air max excelleratw 2 a stunning mix of royal blue Foamposite and blackened-in ridges. This is the first-ever mass produced version of the shoe that Anfernee Hardaway created by hand back in 1997, when the NBA told him his royal blue Foam Ones didn’t have enough black to match the Orlando Magic uniforms.
That instant-classic is paired with the first (and, from what we’ve seen so far, best) colorway of the Air Penny 6, an Orlando-inspired aesthetic that pairs white wings with white-flecked black Megafuse, while royal blue accents cement the “Magic” theme.
Packaged together in a special edition box, both shoes will launch tomorrow, July 4, at retailers nationwide, including select online accounts at 10am EDT/7am PDT.
