David Robinson famously wore the Air Command Force during the shoe’s impressive initial 90s run, so it’s only fitting that one of the first retro editions of 2014 will don colors that celebrate Robinson and the colors of his San Antonio Spurs. The shoe’s distinct high-top upper sports solid black nubuck — complete with ankle-pump and heel release-valve, mind you — with grey offering subtle, neutral balance, before teal and pink starkly contrasting on the outsole, Nike Lunar Forever+2 Free Shipping Air-Sole and various other accents. It’s not hard to see why this shoe has developed a cult following.
